    Default Halloween Thief

They already identified this lady. Is she from Calgary? Maybe she thought all the stuff was for her to celebrate Diwali?

jeesh. Stealing the candy/chips is one thing as she might be trying to provide something for her kids and doesn't have the resources to do so. Stealing the lights means she needs to be outed and cancelled.

Its lazy for people to leave stuff out and ambitious for them to think that no one will take all of it one swoop.

Kids I can see doing this...But it takes a real piece of shit to do it as an adult. Regardless of your cultural / ethnic background.

Same thing happened to us last year.

We left a bowl out when we took our kids trick or treating.
We returned home and the bowl + one of my wife's ornamental porch decorations was missing.

    Some people are just shitty.

She's probably just upset cause nobody was giving her any candy for being a grown ass lady with no attempt to dress up. Shitty people come in all shapes and sizes and cultures.

    This is definitely the way.
Moving forward this is my plan, now that the kids are a year older, my wife can take them trick or treating.

Shes from Cornwall Ontario. Owner of 2 Esso gas stations. Some say the stolen items probably ended up on their shelves to be re-sold. One of the councilors in that area posted up a statement the other day saying she suffers from a "mental health disorder" which is complete BS. And affected home owners should contact him for reimbursement. Statement was put up so people stop going hunting with pitch forks for her. Would statement have been released if she was white? Found a statement posted up by the family of the lady. Weird politicians are involved. Discuss

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

We both took our (young)kids out trick or treating in our neighborhood and we left treats out for others. Nothing stolen, and too much candy left over. Even after telling the older kids to circle back and take everything left when they were done for the night.

    This too

But I live in a largely old people street and a lot of houses are in darkness because they don't partake, so the kids will bypass us to the busier streets

I was told kids these days just leverage social to see where the hot spots are and just go there.

I live among a bunch of cheap fucks and have almost no kids coming to us last few years. I chalk it up as kids in my hood mostly left the nest but may be tech has changed things.

Fair enough...but if you do it because you don't want to deal with kids...why put stuff out at all.

We were at my friend's place for a short visit, they live in a neighbourhood that's busy so get like 500+ kids every year (which is insane but they really enjoy it) because a lot of people drive over there due to a lot of homeowner's really putting in an impressive amount of effort - it's actually pretty fun to walk through there on Halloween. A group of 4 women come along with their multiple kids, all the kids get full size bars and a bag of chips, then every one of the not even costumed women stands there with their own sack outstretched too.

Amazing the gall of grown freeloaders.

We did it because we both wanted to be out with our kids. By the time we got home, all the kids in the neighborhood likely made their rounds. We had way too much candy to begin with, it's why we said to our neighboring kids to come back when they were finished to take the rest. (So I don't have to eat it )
