Parking ticket sunridge mall

Long story short my mom is in the hospital for who knows how long. Came home a couple days early from work, 9 hour drive with no sleep for almost 2 days straight, I drove straight to the hospital.

I parked at sunridge mall, i didnt see any signs where I parked. Parked for about 7 hours, come back and there's a ticket. Apparently that whole spot where I parked is reserved, I dunno.

Parking company is Diamond Parking Service, never heard of it. It's an $83 ticket, should I pay it or appeal it, is it worth it?

But don't be surprised if you get towed if you park there again. They do patrol the north end of the mall pretty regularly.

My Wife literally got the same thing going to PLC for an app.

Ticket said that "she walked away from the lot". Throw it in the bin its a dumb private company that can eat a bowl of dicks

Diamond is worse than indigo in my opinion.
Probably give tickets to paid customers too.

1) you for sure we're not in free hospital parking, and you parked there to avoid paying for designated hospital parking, so there's that.
2) private companies have basically zero recourse, so payment is optional.

Between hospital and train station, that lot is watched like a hawk. But like everyone said, it's private and all you risk is getting towed if you park in any of their lots again. But even that chance is slim. I never paid for any of the impark tickets and I still park at Impark lots without issues.
