Car like running out of petrol or electricity when running

Could anyone help me with my delima about my car? My car wont start when cold. When I get it running in the middle of the day (which is hotter than morning) it idles fine but when I drive it it seems to be loosing power or fuel. I eliminated electricity 'cause I change everything.

I'm not really sure if this is caused by a fuel restriction between tank and carby or a moisture or wrong type of fuel in the tank. What happens if a diesel is put in a unleaded car? I'm asking these 'cause the last person that used my car is an idiot - well more dumber than me. I'm on the process of elimination right now, the last thing i do is to flush the freaking fuel tank.

you would know if there was diesel in the car instead of proper gasoline. The car would bairly run and it would literally look like a smoke bomb was going off all the time. HUGE clouds of smoke.

Hmmm I think my carby is getting flooded....... What would be the right mark when you look at the carby's sight glass? Mine is about more than 3/4.......
