My wife and I were looking at doing this. She's a little concerned because of her current lack of mobility, so how intense is it for creeping around and such?

There's a couple spots it would feel weird walking through a wall on your headset instead of ducking down but it's not a common thing. The entire area you're physically walking around is perfectly flat.
