    Default Matrix (an actual matrix)

I was cruizing on down egay, when i saw this auction...
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33742

what it is, is someone selling the internet adress for a website where you can buy a "Edelbrock Performer X Turbo Kit" for only $400 with free shipping. the auction has ended but it sold for over 100 bucks, lol.

I emailed a winner of one of his previous auctions for the same thing and he says the website seems legit, he also gave me the website(for free, haha) http://www.matrixrevo.com/

The website explains it as a Straight line matrix

The program is based off a straight line matrix. The best way to explain this system is when 1 person signs up for a (E-BOOK) and CELL BOOSTER package , that person has to wait until a certain amount of people signed up for the same package. Then the first person on the list gets there FREE product.
    how it works

It just seems like a big scam to me.
but it also looks like something I could take advantage of. haha.
Does anyone have any experience with something like this?

It's a pyramid scheme and they are illegal. And if you understand exponential growth they end quite quickly. Partake at your own risk.

Yup... Khyron hit the nail on the head. Anyone naive enough to fall for those deserves to throw their money away...

It's not illegal if you are selling an actual product...

But yes, they do end very quickly And most of them ARE scams... There are real ones out there, but this one isn't one of them...

    -For the most part, agreed-

This whole situation is a bit flakey. There are loopholes...Quixtar is sorta like a pyramid scheme but it's legal because there are items on the site that members purchase.
