Man, I did some of the same things he did, but his method is really ghetto! lol.
I used jigs and a router for rings, all rings were flush-mount, i.e. 2 rings. Although the masking tape and tin foil trick I used.
I had to invent edges between body panels, so I just stretched some masking tape between them, then applied aluminum tape to it to stiffen it up. Worked wonderfully.
Lol, some of that really is ghetto though, I got a good laugh out of that page =)

woooo nelly thats ghetto!
here try this sand yer factory panels to polish spray wax them withh areosol wax (5 coats)
use crappy tire poly resin then lay cloth when tacky
then resin then cloth then wait fer 1 day
easy on the resin

then resin to smooth.....now you have a mold the wax will make it pop out with some effort

if yer in the gta i can walk you through mor thoroughly
