I agree, that is a dissapointing attempt at a comeback by the historic old marque.
Family members have owned Studies, and I am partial to them. Remember the 49' Bulletnose and the first of the Raymond Loewy designs?

I came a hairsbreadth from trading a 69 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ straight across for a 63 Avanti - many years ago.

it would have been a comeback but studebaker was sued by General Motors because it looked too much like the H2. The entire car besides the hood is straight off the H2.
