OK this is the problem i have a 93 eagle talon DL (definitely lame), well see i was wondering if ne has heard or seen one of these fast or somewhat fast...I mean i would reather just like try to attempt to make it fast...instead of engine swaping....Its the 1.8L 92WHP model so its slow....Anyone have a idea...

There is alot that u can do to make your baby faster...it all depends on the amount of cash uhave to spend. U can play around with the engine...like Gasflowing the head, bigger valves, rebore the block, racing cams...stuff like that. nice thing about engines is that there is no limit to what u can do. Have alook at my site and get some ideas. Hope this helps.

Well i thought i saw a fast one, but then again i was riding my bike...

But as Vanilla_AMG said there's alot you can do. Kick the engine and install a turbo or 2 But for all that cash you should do an engine swap (im not familiar with DSM's so i dunno what engine but maybe a 2.3L?) those engines got mad potential. Headers, exhaust, de-cat, i dunno theres a whole sh*t load of things you cud do!

Well the bigger engine is prop. a 2.4L or somthing but its kool im trying to just get the slow ass DL motor fast.

There's a few things you can do before you hit a brick wall for performance... it depends on your goals. If you're looking for a lot more power, it's usually more economic in the end just to sell off the DL and get yourself a Tsi.

SELL it and buy a TSi......there is no potenial for the 1.8 motor, you will spend way too much money and waste way too much time to get anything out of it...

And no, for his particular motor, no parts for it at all...he can Fab up a F/I system, and blow it up, wasting not only the money for the F/I system, but also on the 1.8 he had in the first place...Swap in a TSi motor, I dont recommend that...or...like I said above...

SELL it, and buy a TSi to begin with...

Well my freind has a 93 TSI AWD and he has a GReddy T55 Turbo kit with blow off valve and downpipe and other shit but its a AUTO and its slow..so it kinda ruined the TSI thing for me

Besides if i sold it i would by a MK3 turbo supra that would never match a AWD TSI...and you can have no fun with AWD..what am i going to do drive in the snow and go drive in a Rally tournament

ooooo a BOV...how did it ruin it for you??...obviously you have no paitence and need to read up more on DSM's man...if one expirience turned you off of TSi's right away...go and sell your DL and buy a civic please...

I had a MK III Supra and it was hella fast...300hp at the rear wheels...but dude I went and got a DSM...so do whatever you want and hopefully your ingorance does wear off eventually...

i think you should supe up your DSM. there is MAD potential in that ride dawg, dont listen to these people. all you need it intake header and exhaust and you will be pulling some time on the 1/4. trust me, i know my 1.8's. Ask any questions you want.

Also, whats with the sig scamming going on here? I talked with the guy i got it from, you just strait jacked it dawg.

I always laugh when guys buy a car without knowing anything about cars, then when they get the fix for wanting to go fast they start asking questions about how they can make more hp in their slow car.

Do a little homework and purchase the right car to begin with if you plan on seeking more hp.

If you take a moment to add up the cost/hp it would take to make your N/A Talon as much or more hp then a turbocharged Talon you would soon realize that you would be spending a whole lot more money in the end. Be smart, if you wanna go fast, sell your your car and purchase a turbocharged model and start from there.

Do the math!
