    Default Driving on old gas????

Is there anythign bad that could happen driving on old gas? say the car was parked for 6 months.

it's a turbo car too if that makes a differenc.e

I'm picking up the car this week, and gotta drive it back from bc.

can I just cruise on the highway till teh gas runs out? then get new gas?

Top it up with premium, as the gas will lose its volatility when it sits. As well, I have seen the amber coloured crap that forms inside of carbs when it sits. It is like varnish. I know that this "varnish" will affect fuel injection as well. Add a can of good injector cleaner as well. Then another a few hours into the drive.
Dont pound the car while you are burning off the skunky gas. I do not think you will hurt the turbo if you are light-footed until you have a tankfull of good premium again.
