Because many people would go to the expense of bringing a car like that across the border.

Did you not notice the type of car he is selling? They do not come much more collectable then that even if it is not a numbers matching car.

ALL ORIGINAL, #'S MATCH!!! Going to take some pics next weekend, I got it stored up in the desert in California. Might take some time for me to sell it, I kinda want to enter a few shows first, I haven't driven it since '97. I moved to Texas and I just came back to L.A. so I want to enjoy it for a while but eventually I'll need the money.

wow, I'd love to have it but I'm selling this car because I need the money... I really love chevelle's especially that year. damn, what a shame
