crappy tire
^^^VHT high temp paint. Different colors, $8 a can.
Well I did my BBQ with the high heat engine paint at Canadian Tire. Be sure to use some clearcoat as well, make it nice and shiny Cost me about $30 in total to paint
Do you have "Mopac" out in Calgary? They sell VHT for about 8 or 9 dollars a can, in a variety of colours including silver.
It works well. I painted the cylinders of a 1943 Harley Davidson WLC matt black, and it held up well. After about a season however, there were a few spots on the very edges of the fins that needed touching up. but that is pretty good durability, in my opinion, considering the highly vulnerable place I applied it.
Kal Tire also has VHT.
I utterly despise canadian tire, and never buy anything there. They are a bunch of crooks.
I used duplicolor high temp paint the other day on my valve cover! check out the thread. http://forums.beyond.ca/showthread.p...threadid=43877
