Hood protector

Hey all I am looking for a place to install one of those clear hood protector for my XL-7, wondering if anyone know of place with a good deal??

how much does that stuff usually cost?
also do you think its a good idea to do it to a CF hood?
I dont want my hood getting scratched up because I heard its a BITCH to fix the chips on a CF hood.
