Tree Sap on your Car????

Man its sooo windy that the trees is blowing sticky seeds full of sap on my ride.........

How the hell can you get that shit off, cuz i know it stains?

anyone know any good techniques?? im sure others can use the tip......

Gonthro is da Man. Goo Off is good stuff. It will even get the old masking tape that you have left on for too long, from that time you hid the evidence of that hit & run with that bit of backyard bodywork.

I had that trouble when I used to live at home and a good car wand wash did the trick

I tried rubbing goof off on the hood of my cousin's car, but it doesnt work.. Then again, the sap has been there for a couple years I bet. Its like, baked on for good.. no hope no hope no hope.

But I'd asume if they are fresh, you could use goof off though.

Who did you hit? Did your parents suspect anything when you were sanding off the dried blood?

The only thing that I have used that might get stubborn stuff like yellow sapstains, grape & digestive enzyme coloured bluejay shit, and bits of scalp and dried blood, is Goo Off, then fine Rubbing & Polishing compound, followed by a good going over with Jewellers Rouge.

Simple Gasoline antifreeze works the best for sap removal. Every single detailshop/dealership uses it. Perfectly safe on any kind of paint/plastic.

Nail polish remover (acetone) works well to get tree sap off. But I'm not sure what it does to your finish. Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure that anything that's strong enough to take tree sap off would wreck your finish anyway.

Tar Gone, u can get it almost anywhere. it worked good for my car when parked under this tree for a week, came back and there were tons of sap all over my car. now it's all gone.
