Im sorry that this doesn't help you but it's relavent.

In New York I found the BEST dumplings i have ever tasted!
It was a tiny shop that was next to a church in a back alley in china town.

And the best part were that they were 25cents EACH!
For 2 bucks you would get SOO full.

But then when I got home, I would just feel AWFUL!

I'm pretty sure it wasn't rat, but it must have been pretty close.

    Well, bye.

The Dumpling Palace (I think it's called). Not sure what the exact address is, but it's near the Dalhousie chapters. It's on the otherside of the train station. The restaurant is downstairs next to the martial arts studio.

As a white cracker, I like the ones from "Ginger Beef" in Willow Park (by South Center).

I don't know about the best dumplings but I've got the best spring roll

P.S. I'm sorry! I just couldn't help myself with the dirty connotation of the title of this thread.

Had Dumpling Lab few times since they’ve opened. 303 centre street S. (in city plaza beside Chinatown TD)

Freshly made, and they sell frozen pre-made take homes too.

Didn't feel like starting a new thread, might as well stick within topic.

I wish Calgary had a place that made XLB as good as NYC. ...or even Mimi Chengs...8 dumplings for $2 on a paper plate

Hopefully the dumpling craze will catch on and we will have dumpling restaurants popping up like the ramen/poké joints.

How were the dumplings from dumpling lab?

Don’t mind it. Kind of disappointed think they got rid of their sampler pack. Now you have to order by the x6 per flavour.
