Default Infiniti FX35 or Acura MDX

Which one would you go for?

Prices are very similiar .... FX $52K+ (no tech package)
    MDX $50K+

both don't include destination or GST.

love the styling and handling of the FX but the MDX has a little more room and is a smoother ride.

    Any thoughts?

I test drove the MDX and it felt kind of weak... I have never driven the FX but I did drive the Murano and I was sold instantly...

Who is this car for? If it's for older people, they might like the luxury of the MDX (it feels very refined). But if it's for a younger, more spirited driver, then FX all the way!

FX35, I love the styling! Its like if my car grew up and became an SUV, it would be the FX35.

The car is basically for late 20's... for someone who needs more space than current car.

FX35 has possibilities in mods too .... stillen, crawford plenun, pop charger, UR pulley, rims upgrading the 18's that come stock, etc
... MDX is almost a car you buy and leave stock

going to test drive both next week.

anybody have experiences with Inifiniti or Acura.... or specific salepeople that have been good.

i've read that one post about Silverhill ... i hope acura canada deals with it.

if it's looks like a shoe then it appeals to everyone with a foot fetish. I think it looks more like a potato, a high speed very cool and absolutley beautifuly designed potato. Go FX. "Go banana" Ralph (Simpsons)

Although the FX looks sweet, I'd stick with the MDX. Driving position in the FX is a bit awkward for my tastes.

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

    You can't justify that
Infinity (Nissan) has amazing reliability for the most part. My Nissan is 19 years old, 200k kms and I have never had any sort of mechanical failure. The reliability between the two is very close.

    FX all the way!
the new MDX is sick, but its still not an FX

    FX all the way.

You will take it in the ass on depreciation though.

As for the reliability, toyboy88, you make me laugh
