I've checked NAPA but haven't found it (yet). I think it'll be a hard one to get ahold of in Canada.

I dunno why, but this stuff scares the living shit out of me... The thought of an engine ingesting large amounts of liquid is very frightening.

I've used it before, you see alot of smoke but it's nothing too scary. I dont know where I picked it up, It's not all that common here.

Have you ever used a VIC before weapon? When you connect a bottle of solvent style liquid into your brake vacuum tube?

sea foam can be bad as if ur rings are worn u might get some blow by after.

But if its good u should gain a few octane from your gas.

Seafoam is awesome. I have a buddy who brought a case of it back from the U.S. Worked amazing on my Stealth. (Good smoke show too). Noticed and increase in power and better mileage. I swear by the stuff. You can't buy Seafoam in Canada.

ran through my stealth as well. It really helps to make the engine quieter. The lifter tick on a 6G72 engine is horrible and the seafoam kills it for about a year.

give it a try. (not available in Canada and you can't ship it because its a hazerdous material)

I brought some back from Montana. If anyone is interested in trying it out Pm me with an offfer. I have not dyno'd or anything but got a few more mpg and the engine idle is a lot nicer.

A seafoam alternative is the "Cleens" or "Kleens" cleaner found at GMC/Chevrolet dealerships. Roughly $7-8 a bottle and works the same.

Seafoam is excellent for cleaning out carbon. It also smooths out the engine and idle. All in all, very safe to use. I have heard of it causing problems on the rare ocassions, but not a cause for concern.

It tends to smoke the most when you add it into your brake booster. A friend just added it to the motor and gas tank, not a lot of smoke

Since everyone is telling people to search... I searched... and decided to bring back this thread... Where can I get the seafoam?

I add it to the crakcase before I change the oil (500km? can I change the oil earlier?), the gas tank, and the brake booster line, right? Anyone know where in a b16 the brake booster line is?

Mopar sells the same thing with a different name. It's called Mopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner. You can get it at any Chrysler/Dodge dealership, doesn't matter what kind of car you put it into.
