Default First Chop... WIP but getting close

Okely dokely, this started out as a plain vanilla G35. I shaved some things, and was mainly experimenting with a convertible top, but can't get a good angle because the car is shaped funny. I will probably do some body pieces and new headlights for starters. Here is a (somewhat cheesy) burnout pic: (the smoke comes from a NASA space shuttle launch )

I also forgot to tint the windows on the burnout... it's a remote control car.

I just would like some feedback on cleanness of the chops. I am working on more radical stuff now, but I am just getting into chopping...

    Original is here...

BTW, the smoke is green because I'm colorblind , and I can't see it. I'll play around with it to see if I can get it white.

It'll be better to link to it, it's big-ish.

Only the G35x is 4WD, I think. Or, at least, that's what I thought when I did this.

In a burnout, usually you are moving pretty slowly, but still moving with the rear wheels spinning. That's why the front is spinning just a little bit, a lot less than the rear wheel.

*slight update* I was out all day today, couldn't work on it until about a half hour ago. New hood+grille.

    The one with smoke is

Maybe he has those tires with the green stripes down the middle, creating green smoke

The CF and the mesh got messed up when I lowered the resolution. Sorry bout that, but it looked fine at 1280x960.

your cf hood looks ok except there is a little silver showing through at the front end...clean up your work a little. and you forgot the other side of hte hood. half of the hood is still silver. thats not a fender you see back there its hood

    Okely...

    1. Studying for finals... no work for a few weeks
    2. There is a chrome strip in between the mesh and CF... it looks weird on low res
    3. I don't like the CF hood either...
    4. I did it because I was bored and I have no skill to do anything else to it...it's also hard to find other cars at this angle and resolution... I think I might stick some 350Z stuff on there, because the cars are similar and I don't want to try radically different cars yet.
