Which wheels look better? I can't decide....

Jetta needs new shoes and a drop....but before even thinking of buyign anything I have to decide which wheels look better....
Definately going to go with an 18" wheel and the FK Hightec kit (35/40 kit)

Pics have been photoshopped (thx to "Subtle" on vortex for the original pic so I could accurately put 18" wheels on and not make them into 22s or something)
Heres the original for anyone who cares Original car

Just as a note: The car is going to remain stock for the most part except for the wheels/suspension. Not planning on putting any kits/valences or anything else of the sort on the car. Only other mods will probably be joey modded headlights (for you non-dubbers the joey modded lights are basically DIY black housed headlights named after the person who like first did them) and possibly a grille so keep that in mind when posting your opinion.

I personally like BOTH...each set gives the car a totally different look...but unfortunately life sucks so I have to choose only 1 of these sets

Oettinger RE's. Just something about a 5-spoke design. IMO they look better.

the RS4 wheels give it a stock like cool. they seem like almost factory optioned (which they kinda are, kinda) where as the RE's are definetely aftermarket, and they look HOT. Something about 5 spokes on VW's works really well. I think i would personally go with the RE's but its a tough choice because they are such different styles.

I personally like the 5 spoke wheels. BUt for some reason the ones on the top pic suit the car very well.

depends on what kind of body mods youre gonna get into (if any) if youre gonna go aggressive get the REs, if youre going for classy/understated get the RS4s

as said in the first post I'm not doing any other body mods....not planning on dumping big $$ into the car for skirts, bumpers, valences etc.. just not worth it for me.

I don't really know if the RE's are "aggressive" IMO they are one of hte cleaner 5 spokes out there. I'm kind of leaning towards the RE's but am still pretty much 50-50

I say RE's. The RS4's are nice and all but i like the clean look of a five spoke rim.

I do agree with Gonthro, I think they would look very good in a gunmetal color.

I didn't post a "poll" because people would just hit a button and leave I wanted opinions like people posted in this thread (ie: rs4s look classy, RE's look etc.)

Personally i would go with the RS4's because the 5 spoke rim looks pretty much stoke on the jetta because you can order almost the identical rim from volkswagon
