    is installing a cool air intake hard, easy or so so?

    Depends what kind of car it's going into. Your 2002 Jetta?

    It depends on the intake. Some of them don't seem to fit behind the driver's side headlight very well. Others you can just drop right in there. It depends on the width of the pipe and the angle that it is bent at.

    The steps involved are (basically)

    1. Remove airbox
    2. Remove battery and battery box
    3. Install intake

    Not very hard.

    Super easy job, limited tools required, give it a go

    definitely not a very technical job, but like all things related to working on cars, it can be annoying.

    besides, if u are buying new, it comes with instructions anyways.

    thanx alot everyone, but i have another question not realy related.

    i know that bmw's and audi's have electrical problems, do vw's also have electrical problems?

    yesssss better buy some relays any time ya got some spare cash!!!
    iv had a couple its just a major pain when yer wipers wont go and ya cant use yer power locks relay or signals relay as a substitution.
