How many pairs of runners were worn out to push the car up to that speed though?

My first car was an 87 crx si, on my gf's grad night we were driving to calgary from okotoks and I was racing some kid in his dads MB Anyways, on that big hill I got my car going close to 200kms, the whole car felt like it was going to fall apart! I slowed down as soon as I realized how fast I was going.....

You should get a chip Davan, 170 is not really that fast at all...

I remember back when I was going to SAIT, a friend of mine got rear-ended and had his car totalled. The rental he got was a new hyundai accent rollerskate. Car didn't have enough power to get out of its way but we bagged the living hell out of that car. Had to drive it hard, was the only way we could feel like we were having any fun

I would love to... unfortunately the computer in my car isn't chipable...

There's a company that can reprogram it, but they charge 300 USD and my car is a duck while the ICU is shipped to them...

The really sad thing, is 170 is only at 4000 rpms in 5th gear.... lots of room to go!

Ever watch the odometer at 200+kph? It's just flying, it's quite funny to watch how much ground your covering so quickly like that.
You start with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.

Sounds cool.... but again I'm stuck with having to ship out my ECU, and it doesn't sound like he works on American cars anyways.
