Ontario Resident got Speeding Ticket in Quebec

Hi,

I have a question about my speeding ticket...

Last year when I was coming back from Montreal, Quebec, I got a speeding ticket, they clocked me going 135km/h in a 100 zone. I am from Ontario, the ticket was issued in Quebec, will this show on my Ontario Driving record?

No, it shouldn't as driving laws are a provincial matter and are governed by provincial law. what is illegal in one province may be legal in another (ie, turning right on a red light.

Some provinces share information, so you may find that ticket waiting for you when you go to renew your registration. Or at the least, you'll get a surprise if you get pulled over again in Quebec.
