"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”

yeah, its not brand new tho, its a 98, and she can get it for ~15G U.S., so she was wondering if she should bring it over and sell it

    feasible?

Well lets do the math. If she can get it over here, shipping will be anywhere from 2000-3000dollars, plus taxes, import fees etc maybe another $500-1000. Basically its going to cost her anywhere from 18-20K+ USD to get that car here. PLus it's going to be right hand drive as well. $20k USD for a civic is a hell of alot of money, your sister might want to make some profit on that too so adding even more to the selling price will reduce the chances of it selling. Im not sure what the demand is for a car like that in the states. Up here in Canada you'd really have to luck out when trying to sell a car like that for that much money. For $20K+ usd and less you can get a 2001 integra type R, that civic is 6 years old now and really isn't all that special. It's a pretty risky endeavor if you ask me.

isn't there a thing where the car has to be +15 years if the car is imported?

I mean, isn't it supposed to be considered an "antique" before it is legal to be driven here?

im not sure. just a noob input .
