    Question synthetic to conventional oil

    hey all...i recently got an oil change done on my jimmy..i got my oil switched from conventional to synthetic..i then heard that i wont be able to go back to conventional...or else my engine will get fucked up..is this true? thanks

    I would assume its cost related.....

    My dad went from syntec to conventional today in his truck. I shook my head......

    yes its mostly cost related..i heard that i wouldnt be able to switch back AFTER i had it changed ..what will happen if i do?

    I wouldn't do it if I were you. Too many complaints of engine problems after going back to conventional.

    I want to hear this too? I haven't read anything about going back to conventional is not good.

    I know people who go back, and nothing happen.
