City of Heroes

Who has it and what do you think? Is it worth it?
I played it at my friend's place for about an hour and it seems really fun, with the custom hero and all...
I'm thinking about buying it, it costs approx. $60 and something like $25/month to play online...
What you guys think?

i personally think MMOPRGs aren't worth paying for, even though i myself have benn tempted to play one before. but the price to play a MMO for a year would be around $250-300, i just don't thingk its worth it. and i'm guessing you didn't know there a city of villains coming out

Everyone I've talked to said the game is sparce. The character creation is amazing but then there's not a whole lot to do afterwards. So some guys have like 10 chars.

Yea, character creation is fun, but afterwards will get dull fast I think.
I've decided to spend my money on liquor instead

ive played it for a month now and im pretty tired of it actually

in one nite i got a level 7 scrapper, then i made new character, after 4 days level 15 blaster.

now theres only 40 levels so this gives me doubts about stickin around for long...

im waitin for World of Warcraft!
