I am looking at buying an 87 nissan PU, anybody got any opinions on this vehicle??? Help would be greatly apprecieted.....

Go for it! The V6 has plenty of low end torque! I have a 87 Pathy with the V6 3.0L

Well I went and test drove the truck and the first thing that came out was a huge puff of blue smoke and it smelled real bad... I am not lookin for a truck to do work to...

nismodrifter I am keeping your truck in mind however 8000 is a lot of money for me to spend when I can fix my truck up for around 2000... I recently got into an accident with my 93 nissan pickup so I am looking for a replacement that I wont have to do work to... If i get desperate, expect a call... like I said 8000 is a lot of money for me rite now...

i'm sellin' my winter truck, it's an 88 hardbody extended cab, 4cyl, 5speed, 2wd, 360,000 kms!!!!! It runs great though, starts everytime even -50! looks pretty ugly but is very reliable thanks to a new battery, starter, plugs and wires. $600obo and it doesn't burn oil! very weird.

I have an 88 ext cab with 319,000kms runs awesome, doesn,t burn oil..Looks awesome. You can't go wrong with another Nissan..

The V-6 is a good motor for sure, but if you get the 88-on with the ka24 inline 4, it will be alot better on gas than the v-6 and is still more than powerful enough for day to day driving.

Would you sell parts off of it? I'm looking for a decent bed for my extra cab.
