    Exclamation The Dodge SX ?!?!?!

    What the hell???

    Why the hell did Dodge rename the Neon???
    Just cause it's called the SX doesn't mean it's any better.

    And how come Canada don't get the SRT-4???

    I saw the commercial the other day and was sort of confused by it as well.

    Canada does get the SRT4 and neon was viewed as too 'cutsie' a name for a dodge branded vehicle, hence the name change.

    We do??? I was looking at Dodge.ca and the highest model only goes up to the SX 2.0 R/T

    good they rename it to SX instead of keeping neon.. thought it doesnt make it go faster.. it does sound better..

    Wha? I thought Dodge was only going to sell trucks in canada, that's why our neon is a chrysler? Do we have the stratus here? (who cares anyway, the new R/T is a discrace)

    I heard that the tranny used in the new Stratus R/T is gonna be used on the SRT-4, and it totally blows! That would be the T-850 designed for use in diesel minivans. Supposed to be rather clunky, not smooth and a real pain in the ass for daily driving and hard to find the perfect shift point. Hopefully they upgrade the transaxle to be a high performance unit by the time the car comes out (rather than just a beefed up truck one to handle the tq )

    i think they stopped selling stratus in 2000 or 2001 since the new stratus is basically like the sebring or eclipse .. i thinkkkkk

    I believe the stratus R/T is the same platform as the eclipse, but we only JUST got that I'm not sure if it's the same as the sebring, probably. I wish we had that 5 speed sebring conv here, that's a cool car.

    2 letters in 'SX' vs. 4 letter in 'Neon'. Which is lighter and therefore faster? Slap on an 'R' before it and you got an 'RSX'.

    The dodge engineer on live chat yesterday on www.dodge.com said there was nothing definite in terms of a Canadian SRT-4, although Canadian Chrysler reps have said that we get it in 2004.

    I saw the commercial yesterday, personally I like the new name better, Neon is kinda ghey. The commercial is hilarios, it says "feel the exhilleration of 130 hp" hahaha. Although the SRT-4 would be awesome. Anyone know the stock 1\4 mile times on that bad ass?

    Hollywood told me that Sport Compact car did a review of the car, It is was underrated!!!! they dyno it at 220hp and 250 trq or something crazy like that
