Broke my buddies car last night...
Well kinda :tongue: Leaving a bar my buddy asks me to drive his car. Its a 2000 Honda Civic SIR. It has a few mods one of them being a DC short shifter. Well he always speed shifts his car when he's bagging on it and he's egging me on to try and speed shift his car. Keeps telling me how easy it is with the Hondas. So I tried a few times and did ok but he kept saying no your not doing it fast enough. So I said, "Ok you want me to shift it like my Mustang"? He's like, "yeh"! So after the next set of lights I ease into it from first then punch it hard. As I come up to 7000RPM's foot matted I just hammer it from first to second....can you guess what happens next?
The shift was perfect but to my surprise half his shifter was still in my handHe didn't realize it until I handed it to him :tongue: He was shocked. I felt bad but I couldn't stop laughing. I guess they don't make those DC shifters like a Hurst :tongue:
