    Default registration renewal

    hey all..i have 3 tickets at the moment..need to renew my registration before the 31st of this month..i hear that they wont renew until these tickets are paid is this true?

    You cannot have outstanding monies owed if you want to get your regestration renewed.

    is your regestration oct 31? if its before your tickets are paid, you will have to wait till they are paid.

    Yeah , you're done. I'm not looking forward to renewing mine, I must have $300 outstanding.. Doh.

    Just from personal experience, I went a few years with an expired licence, I got a ticket from a traffic cop and he didn't pick up on it either. Another cop did catch me though and kindly advised me to renew it. Cost like $50 to renew it at AMA.

    so even thought my tickets are to be paid on november 20th..i must pay them before the 31st of october if i wanna renew?

    yup ..you cannot have any unpaid tickets on your driving record when you go to renew

    hmmm, now that I think about it...I think if you have money outstanding, past due date...then you cannot register...it wouldn't make sense cause if you got a ticket the week before, it wouldn't allow for the full payment to be made period
