Looking for an engine map

Hey everyone, as some of you know im new to cars and i was wondering if anyone knew of a place where i could find a map or outline of an engine, like a picture of an engine and having it point out and explain all the parts. I would really appreciate it because i have read alot of guides about engines and ive seen pictures of the individual parts that make up the engine and rest of the car but i dont know how it all fits together, thanks in advance .

P.S. how do i get pictures in my signature?

It's pretty good as far as diagrams and explaining how things work together.

To get the pic in there, you have to host it somewhere first, then put the link to it in some IMG tags. eg:
{img}http://yourhost.com/yourpic.jpg{/img}
Just make sure you use [ and ] instead of { and } when you type it out.

i seen the stuff in that site but its mostly like a 3d explanation to teach you how the stuff funtions but im looking for diagram of a real engine so i can spot the different parts when i open my hood

every engine is laid out slightly different. usually the owners manual will point out obvious accessories, and if u got a haynes manual it would have better diagrams.
