CD Changer + my new 190E 16V

I have just recently picked up a Mercedes 190E 16V and it still ahs the stock deck which includes only a tape player. I would like to keep the stock deck and pick up a changer but not sure what I need to pick up. I believe a FM modulated changer will work but need some help to figure out for sure before I buy one. The stock deck is made by Becker.

You need an FM modulator and it will work fine, but the quality will be much like your FM radio station.

What about the alpine deck I sold you? Plus the 12 disk alpine changer I have sitting here (shameless plug I know)

haha....ya that would work but the deck is already in use and I want to keep the stock one in this car. Is the Fm modulator seperate from an mf modulated changer? If so where do i find one.

The stock Becker deck in MB's of our era are horrible....you are much better off buying a good cd deck, trust me, I ran an FM mod changer off the becker in my first 300E and it was a nightmare....sounded really bad. Nothing beats a nice powered head unit....

Haha.....they're comin guys, give me just a bit more time. Ya i've decided that I dont like the rear speaker deck, stock tape deck or 4" speakers so i've decided to make a custom leather rear speaker deck with 5 1/4" speaks and a 8" sub and then throw in the deck I had in my other car. Hopfully i can get some pics for tomorrow.......
