sweaking sound

there's a sweaking sound coming from the front of my srv....when i engage the clutch it will go away and when the clutch isn't in it come back. The guy at honda said some arch thing is dry and he will lubricate it for 40 bucks. My friend said it was a release bearing. Does anyone know what this noise is???

release/ throw out bearing....

I had the same thing when I had my 4th gen.
I think its the release bearing too.

what make this release bearing make that sound? Is it bad driving?? Where do I go to fix it and does anybody recommend anyone??? Is it expensive to fix?

I know its caused by wear... Nothing to do with your driving style. Not sure where you go to get it fixed, and I dont think it is overly expensive to fix.

really by wear??? the clutch only like 8000km on it..well if anyone knows somewhere to fix for cheap let me know..Thanks
