FS: damaged HP notebook
it is an HP N5420 I believe.
the motherboard fried itself, out of the blue, and its too expensive to fix. so I am either selling it as is, or parting it out. everything else is working, however I have taken the memory for my own laptop.
it has a fully working 12.1 TFT screen. battery in good condition.
DVD drive, floppy drive, case is in great condition. has adaptors and recovery disks. working keyboard and touch pad. working speakers.

You should try selling it off entirely or as parts on eBay. Laptop parts seem to sell very quickly on there, especially if it's a common model.

is it just a dvd drive or a combo cd burner/dvd drive. I would be interested in some pics of it.

the hard drive is 6.6 GB, but I have no way of erasing it before I sell it, so until it can be wiped, I am not selling it, unless anyone can help with that.
the dvd drive in internal, and is just a dvd-rom. no burning capabilities.
and yeah, if it doesnt sell here I am going to post it on ebay, I just didnt want to have to fool around with shipping and accepting payment and all that.
