Haha. Fuckin enablers. Once the firm is set-up and functional for a year or two, I will be back with a vengeance and make up for not doing anything with vehicles for 2-3 yrs. Until then gotta suck it up and satisfy myself with the m3 and ram and hold strong. Too bad you can't fuckin drive watches as I have the equivalent of a g wagon collection by now. lol
Funny story, a senior partner I know at a big firm has the most insane watch collection....it's worth 7 figures for sure. But drives a civic and couldn't give two shits about cars. At least the guy knows his priorities.

Every single lawyer I know drives a mundane, if not objectively kind of shitty, car. What is it with you people?

There is a 0% chance you wait 2-3 years before switching a vehicle. Hasn't your average retention time been like 6 months? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Forget the cars, whose name goes on the wall? What do you have to do to get your name on the wall? In which order will the names go on THE WALL?
NAME
WALL.
That is all that matters in lawyer life.
Between my wife and I we're currently at 8 (she has 2 cars she drives in summer/winter). come join the party. @shakalakaThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Fuck that does make me feel better a bit about my craziness and makes me want to pick up the bronco...lol.
Must...resist...temptations. Mind over matter.
Contrary to popular opinion, life is all about immediate short term gratification. Without it you're just wasting the best years of your life. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I say stupid shit all the time.
Just think if you buy the Bronco today then you'll have less expenses AFTER you form your company. So really you're just setting yourself up for success in the long run. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
This message is very relevant to my wife, and it goes both ways. She's concerned about the image a status vehicle would project and clientele thinking they pay her too much, so she drives a 'normal vehicle' despite being able to afford more. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Nope. Everyone knows that a reputable law firm has a chauffeur on standby. When you are busy doing lawyering you don't have time for poor people activities like driving/parking/walking.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Ah yes.
Need to brush up on my suits.
What about office square footage? Or assistant TnA?
