It's a sports car. Enjoy the road, not the stereo. (I am biased, I can't fit a double din in the S without hacking up the dash)
Yeah but these are cars I'd take on road trips, so having nav would be really helpful.

Yeah I saw that mod! That put the E89 back on the radar (having a hard top is nice too).

Why don't you do one of those single DIN pullout screen?

Bought color matched paint for the Mini. Paint is expensive.

Wonder how much it will go for.
    I'll guess $33,700.

Nice, BMW for days. Those dont really lose their value by much at this point. So you should be ok. Lose those wheels tho...
This one is a little rough around the edges, but it was the cheapest option. We have 2 kids under 5 and 2 - 2 seat sports cars. This is kind of a test to see if it gets any use at all. If yes, we will look for a nicer one in a few years. If no, it won't break the bank to get out of.

    Nice. Details?

I've been waffling back and forth between getting a Z4 (considered both E85 and E89), a Boxster, or a Cayman for like the last year. Only reason I keep eliminating the Z4 is cause of the dash and its inability to fit a double DIN stereo.
2003 2.5i base, 72,xxx miles. Was in Vegas I think, pain is rough, going to need breaks soon. It was half price most other ones and as I said above, we will see if it gets any use. Also.....closer to winter I might have another surprise in the garage.....

The trunk in the soft top versions are bigger with the top down. Was looking at a newer hard top, with the N54, but I would rather not have 2 - N54 engines.

1 n54 is scary enough lol. I have both an n54 and n55 and let me tell you, the difference in power between the 2 seems staggering. Sorry off topic lol

But yes 2 N54 you are rich lol

Have in-wall coffee machine, which is convenient + makes great espresso etc, but am wanting to try and see if I can get a different tasting cup of coffee by changing the brew method.

    Hario V60 Kit:
    https://www.amazon.ca/Hario-V60-Coff...s%2C140&sr=8-2

Will try it out with some pre ground stuff and see if I actually enjoy the process/taste. If I do then a grinder (Baratza Encore) will be next (I imagine the $$ Coffee thread posters will say that I should actually be buying the grinder first).

Get a Moccamaster and you’ll never want takeout coffee again

Yeah we got a baratza and moccamaster early into covid, and never looked back. For non-specialty coffee, this combo can’t be beat imo.

    What’s a baratza? A grinder?

I’m using the cheapo cuisinart one which seems to? Function?

Love my moccamaster. Though since not WFH I hardly use it.

You're really not helping me to avoid buying a z3... They've been on my radar a lot lately

Just paying it forward i suppose.....reason for the z4 is the neighbour's across the lane got a miata, so now my wife needed a little convertable.lt also, I think the price is right around now, even if the general car market is messed....

I don't even know what or how much insulation/tin I bought. I didn't think I'd win throwing 5 dollars at it.

    Mistakes may have been made...

I went yesterday and grabbed my stuff, the tin is just rolls of flashing tin, was an insulation company that went under. I didn't end up taking any of the insulation, was for pipes and of no use to me so I told them to trash it unless someone else wanted it

To the right person this stuff isn't cheap. Would be hard to find a buyer however.
