I became old the second my kid was born.
It’s that simple.

I’ve been telling my Son he will be old enough to drive with a Learner’s license in 5 years, which he says is ‘forever’ long. My reply is 5 years for me now essentially just feels like an extended lunch break. Can’t imagine how fast time will feel when my age is double.
Bought my sister a used car from a friend. My buddy was selling his 2010 Kia Forte Koup SX, and my sister in Vancouver was looking for a small vehicle on a budget, and this fit the bill. Was always dealer serviced and only 98,000 on the odometer. I replaced the windshield on it here in Alberta as the original one had a crack all the way across, and drove it out to Vancouver last week. All in, including the windshield and out of province inspection, it came out to $5500, with another $600 in PST. I think it's a great deal personally. Drove straight as an arrow for 11 hours, feels basically new once I cleaned the interior and a few paint transfer scrapes. Passed out of province without a single concern. Even the insurance lady in Vancouver commented on how great the condition is, given that it's now 13 years old. This was top of the line model as well with sunroof, heated seats, leather, bigger engine, allow rims ect ect, so pretty good deal I think. Haven't shopped for a used car for a while, but last I heard prices are still stupid. Sister is loving it, and given the fact that I know everything about this car and it's service history, I feel confident it will give her plenty of years of good service, vs buying something in Vancouver and going in blind.

Love what you are doing with it
Thanks. The aero has arrived except the front splitter. I tried wrapping it in forged cf myself but failed hard. I’ll get a wrap person to do it.
Got bent over by ford for an oil filter. Couldn't deal with my usual ford dealership. They didn't have any and didn't know when they could get them. I guess they are in short supply.
