I use a submersible pump and either drain it into my bar sink just inside the door with garden hose, or if using the faster larger diameter hose I go into the floor drain in the basement.
My neighbour drains his pool into the swale (very illegal) I wouldn't risk the fine myself.
I might be tempted to use the ravine. I wouldn't think the chemicals would be that bad as to kill the vegetation.
Seems to me the repair guys once drained mine into the back yard. No issues.
I drain mine to a forested slope 2x a year and never had any vegetation impacts.

I use an electric PA transfer pump inline on the drain and it empties it out fairly quickly…helped along with a hose attachment from the typical yard hose to a 1” line.

I have this one and it's great. Perhaps slightly older version with the T-handle.
I think it weighs about 347 kg, but whatever.
You weren’t kidding, my god this thing is heavy. I was not expecting it to weigh 150 lbs or whatever the hell it is. Pulled a rookie move and put it in a shopping cart in some awkward angle…looked like a chump in the parking lot trying to get it out and into my trunk haha.

This thing should last ages tho and nice to know I can change out tires for any future vehicle

Only got $50ish back in CT money tho…maybe should have signed up for the Select program before.

I think Thursday was a Bonus Day and that's the main reason you heard about big$ back. Select doesn't make THAT much of a difference I don't think.

I like the set up from the medic, looks compact and effective. Might convince the shop to buy one at work for….work uses.
Try and find a Blackstone X2. Wissota makes a reasonable affordable one as well. The SSM doesn't have a ton of north american support

Holy crap, thats a serious home sharpener. Did you buy that new?!?! No way could I justify something like that...
I didn't, the sharpener itself retails for $2200, and the blackstone skate holders are $700+....... I'll just say it was a red paperclip storyline that got me to this machine

Ender 3 died, said fuck it and ordered this. If the reviews are right this one "just works" so it'll be nice not having to constantly tweak the Ender settings...work on the model, not the print kinda thing.

Looks good, what's the printable area on it?

I got an email about Prusa's new Mk4, looks really good. Might be a strong contender to replace my Ender when the time comes.

Its 256mm^3, I would have liked an oversized bed but if this prints as good as they say it shouldn't be any problem joining smaller components into one big model.

I considered the Mk4 but it was going to be $2600 shipped with an enclosure, and thats without the multi filament attachment which has pretty dodgy reviews anyway...This one was $2200 including a spare bed plate and four rolls of filament on top of whats in the box. Pricey but god damn do I hate how the 3v2 would have five failed prints to every one success.

Do you print for personal use or have a business 3D printing?

I want one, but so not sure about bambu labs... I might order the p1p... It wouldn't hurt as bad if they vaporize... The prices just don't seem inline with my expectations somehow even the spare parts are all cheaper than creality - their business model confuses me...

Thermacell works great... as long as there's no wind.

    Calgary is never windy, right?

If there’s wind there’s no mosquitos. Or am I missing something?

Even a light breeze makes them pretty useless in my experience. Mosquitos around my house still fly in a breeze.
