Got my insurance pay out and picked up this turd. 2007 Silverado with 4" lift. Has the 6.0 with the 4l80e. Needs some work but nothing major.

Installed a full enclosure for the bush buggy with a full laminated DOT glass windshield. Kids will be a lot happier in the winter now. Might splurge for an actual heater next, but it gets fairly warm inside without one. Will see.

Guess I jumped the gun with the previous post a bit, the Sigma under further testing showed some real problems with sharpness near infinity focus and major optical stabilization issues. So back to the store it goes and now I have one of these instead.

Admittedly, I also had some fine focusing issues with both Sigma lenses (50mm 1.4 and the 150-600 sport). Just not as sharp wide open as I had hoped/been led to believe from online reviews.

Yeah, it wasn't a focus tuning issue, as even with MF in live view on a tripod it was brutally soft past ~30m to infinity. Probably just an exceptionally bad copy but even the OS system had obvious issues. FWIW I'm not a third-party hater by any means, my 35mm Art is awesome.

The 200-500 is absolutely phenomenal, the VR is extremely effective and it's sharp at all apertures and focal lengths. Apparently works well with the 1.4TC too.

I have my fireboard on my egg, so I may have to buy a second one for the 1050.

Do you use both at the same time? I have 2 fireboards and I don't have many if any situations I want to use both. My OG FB1 starting having flaky wifi after a few years, I kept it because its still handy to use offline but I rarely use a controller on the Kamado, I just track trends and use the daisy wheel...Its pretty dialed in
