Bought same. Dryer is falling apart and I don't want to repair it anymore given its age and the fact that I'd like things like a bedding mode and of course the heat pump. Having all the control on the middle rather than a traditional stacked washer and dryer is nice for the shorter folks out there, ie my lady...
Gonna pull out the in wall metal portion of the dryer vent, plop a piece of Roxul and VB in there and get a closet to put our vacuums in. Yay.

It uses way less electricity. Dryer is basically #1 (could #2 if you have gigantic fridge/freezer I suppose) consumer of electricity. These things use half. Technology is old, it's just a dehumidifier and they're basically all you can get in Europe and Australia for decades.
