And people mocked me for needing external fuel canisters to get my kid to daycare.

How much of a rush you need?

Sous vide is a great way to clean bone and degrease if you have time

I have 4 bear skulls, wolf, bobcat, lynx, maybe a raccoon. I just want to soak for a month.

It was a joke about composting dead (presumably human) bodies.

I was being ambiguous for that reason. I'm doing "taxidermy".

    Better?

Everyone I know that does this (European mount) boils them until the flesh is removed .
Unsure if that's the best method or not or how that affects the bone.

Now you're making me suggest fulminated mercury, seems that would take flesh off of bone, but not as cleanly as may be desired.

I do this with Deer and I'm trying a new method. Boiling kind of ruins it if left too long.

Sous vide should eliminate the boiling issue since you keep it a low temperature (I wanna say I did 145ish?). I bought a cheap one from Canadian Tire. Cut the bulk of the meat away obviously and change the water frequently enough that the machine doesn't clog up, but the nice thing is you don't need any bleach or whatever, just water and maybe some dish detergent to help degrease. You won't get snow white but a much more natural finish. But I don't see why you couldn't throw some oxy clean in there if you want the white.

Its been maybe 5 years since I did it so do some research first but that skull is hanging on my wall and looks fantastic. And no fucked up nasal structure!

We contemplated that or the bike....bike won out. I'm a big fan of rowing, but we want to mountain bike more, so figure that might help. Interested on how you like the rower.
@arcticcat522 , been using it regularly and here's my thoughts:
    1) Things were hurting because of my bad form the first few times but the rower helped me fix my form. No more pain.
    2) Gamification of Form Assist keeps me engaged. Top score so far is 98% over 20 minutes. Trying to keep it over 90%.
    3) Instructors are good, except for that DEI one. Classes keep you from getting bored. I can't imagine just using a C2.

I did a live class and there were only 1100 people. I think there will be a big promo price this year to push sales.
The only negative I see has been the price, but it is the only rower with Form Assist and it's the feature I value the most.

Thanks for the heads up. Next year I might see about pushing the wife to get rid of out tread mill and get one when the personal spending account resets. Rower was always my favorite cardio. Thanks again for the review

I know those lights are cheap but its for a reason. Battery life is abysmal and they fall apart so easily. I bought one of these and its been rock solid and the magnet and rotating heads throws a lot of light. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07858F534?...refix=cyclops+
My number one grip with the other lights and this one is that they are rechargeable. I ALWAYS forget to charge them so when i go to use them, they are dead. Instead, i picked up one of these at Home Depot. It was $60 on clearance and is bright enough for anything. I always have batteries on hand so its much more handy.

Do you need to pay the $55/month fee to use it, or is that just the classes? Seems like a good option as I get older/stiffer especially with form assist but $3900 to buy plus $55/month feels a bit insane, I just cancelled my gym membership that was only $50 and had free classes

The monthly fee applies for the classes, otherwise you just get "Just Row" and "Scenic Rows," which is not worth it.

If you have other Peloton products, the 1 membership covers the Bike, Tread, Row and Guide.
The value proposition goes up if you have other household members using the equipment. An entire family could be $55/month.
To extract further value, I encourage friends & extended family to create their Peloton profiles on my Bike+ and use the App for free on their non Peloton equipment at home. Sort of like sharing a Netflix account.

There are other interactive row options like Hydrow, but it didn't make sense for me to get another membership. https://hydrow.com/

First pickup of the season, picked up a 58 late summer and really liked it and have been on the lookout for a 54 to fix my gapping.

Excited to give it a couple swings.
