the east coast is not a conservative area. the deciding seats will be from ontario as most of quebec will forgo voting liberal and vote bloc, depriving the liberals of much needed seats. if the liberals can make a strong showing in ontario, they will take it. if not, we will have a conservative leader.

I think it's pretty safe to say that we're going to have a minority government this time. Those numbers look promising to ensure that the Conservatives don't get the leadership, but the western polls haven't closed yet. Also, I really didn't expect to see such strong numbers with the NDP. That makes me extremely happy!

What a fuckin joke....I cannot beleive those easterners fell for the Liberals again. I am very dissapointed with the results so far.....I thought the Conservatives could possibly be competitive with the Liberals in ON....I guess I was wrong.

Looks like another 5 years of Liberal BS.
"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

LOL, better going for liberal then going to war

That is the only reason all the older immigrants like my parents voted liberal instead of NDP.... to make sure the conservatives didn't win.

    Go NDP! Great showing.

What I'm really amazed about is the amount of seats that the block aquired.

For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”
