i have phoned oemdept at least a dozen times and always gotten my call answered on the first or second ring, but there is only 1 guy that works there so he may have been busy with a customer or on the other line... as for online orders, would you go around and collect a basket full of stuff for a "potential customer" and then they cancel it, you just wasted your time, i dont know about you but i wouldn't even think of gathering the stuff until i have the cash in hand.

Nah, I have bought hardware from them 20+ times -- they always answer/return phone calls/emails.

You want shitty corporate service? try Dell, Gateway or Futureshop.

Ah I didn't realise it was that small a shop (since they have multiple stores). I got through later in the day and bought my parts - no frills, low prices - like Mem express was back by compusmart.

He really should invest in a better voice mail greeting than a nasty automated "leave a message" though.

Yup, I just bought a CD-RW for $41 at OEM Depot and the same drive is $50 and Memory Express. I bought a video capture card and DVD burner from Memory Express because of better selection and a better return/exchange policy.

This is OEM Depot's return/exchange policy. Kind of contradicts itself...
    Refund/Exchange Policy

    WE DO NOT EXCEPT REFUND/EXCHANGES.
There will be no refunds or exchanges for special order products or opened CD Media. Refunds will be given the same way purchased except cash purchases will be refunded on interac/debit.
