    Default Seanachie Irish Pub

Seanachie Irish Pub Located in Signal Hill Center, accross from Westhills.

Not really a pub type atmosphere, very ritzy, food is excellent, fast service, large menu. A little bit more pricey than Joeys, but food quantity and quality is perfect.

I give it a 9/10 almost perfect...had to cut one off becuase it almost seems like you have to dress up to go into this place.

I went there with a couple friends on Friday night. I thought it was pretty wicked considering they only opened up a week prior!

Patio was nice, waitress was attentive and friendly, and the prime rib was pretty damn good!

Think that's gonna be my new wing place come Monday nights!

There's a celtic music group that hails from Calgary called "seanache" which is pronounced the same as this pub...any idea if there is a correlation between the two?

This new establishment has been brought to you by the fine folks who run Limericks, Killkenny, and Dixons.

it is indeed called the SEANACHIE.

It's beeing Managed by Heather, who was awesome over at Limericks. Should be a great place to go if you're craving some fine Libations and Nosh.

no, Seanachie, shaw-nak-ee, we had to ask the waitress how to say it, super good food, good atmosphere and the interior design has a really good irish theme to it, it's probably one of the best irish pub's i've been to in the SW area. Beats the hell out of shitty-service-shaleigliehs`

Nice im gonna head their tonight for some fun. I am still undecided if i should critique this bar while inebriated or not. The highlight is that its walking distance from my house no cab ride for me

I go Sundays for the all-you-can-eat brunch $13.99 but more than worth it for the selection.

Everything from eggs benedict, custom omelettes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, roast beef, chicken, fish, fresh fruit, veggies, 3-4 different salads, and some really fancy desserts, etc -- more than worth $13.99, especially if you have an appetite.

I usually have a coffee and eat breakfast, have a few pints, then eat lunch.

far from ritzy. food isnt bad.

the attempt to pull off the 'irish' thing is pretty weak too. dress the waitresses in kilts (dont get me started) and put up some gold leaf gailec designs around the place, and suddenly everything is all TOP O' THE MORNIN TO YE. WHARS ME LUCKY CHARMS. kind of funny.

so? whats your point...many people try and do cars up "jdm" but very few pull it off 100%.

As far as pubs are concerned it is very nice, but who cares? since when are pubs supposed to be 'ritzy'?

Again, its a "pub", not 5 star restaurant.

No one in there pretends to be Irish and if you have a problem with the plaid short skirts you have your own issues to deal with dude.

But then again, I am Irish, so I might be a bit biased.

read the first post smart guy. spoon said it's 'ritzy'.

    its not.

I said the food wasnt bad. that means it's fine. I never said it had to be spectacular did I? it was nothing special. way to be.

if you're irish then you'll know they stole the kilts from the scots. wow it's so irish. I was expecting guys with pipes and green suits and bowler hats to come flying out of the kitchen and start doing a jig.

Ben, my point is: why try to pull it off at all? instead of being say... innovative, or focusing on the fundamental parts of what a pub/restaurant should be, they go with an 'irish' gimmick. whoopty fucking do.

No, but when someone says, "Not bad", they are usually insinuating that it is "Not good" either.

Negative. The first kilts were worn by the Irish not the Scottish. However, many of the Irish moved to Scotland (Alba) and they brought their clothing with them. We also taught them how to drink, but thats a different story.
