I've got a mercedes c320 that I just love to drive. But it is not as sporty as I'd like. I'm interested in upgrading the suspension and maybe adding a supercharger. Is there any mods out there that I can put on this car?

Yes, there are mods out there, the big question is what is your budget

Beyond.ca has very few of us Benzo owners, even less that have modded (seriously) the 3.2L V6....
S/C's are quite expensive and not usually worth doing...I'd do the basic bolt-ons and that's about it....but check out the sites above, I may be wrong...
for the money you spend on good suspension kits, springs, brake, and add a super charger, you better trade it to a C32 ! they are pretty good value !Originally posted by Warren80

Yeah, but who's to say he's going to do all the mods at one time? In the big cost picture, he'll spend close to that but if his pockets only allow little by little, he won't get the 32.
W202 ?
I wasn't even planning to do any mods till my waranty runs out which will take me at least another 6 months. Money is a bit of a constraint. I am not going to be able to afford a c32 any time soon.
No man, the W203.Originally posted by statick

mbklasse.com is geared towards the w203s solely and has alot of good info.
one option is the kleeman supercharger, about 7 grand but you'll be able to beat a C32 and M5 in the 1/4 mile
The best upgrade for a C320? Trade it in for a C32. You'll save a LOT of money because you'll seriously spend way more $ to upgrade the C320 to near C32 levels.
With the C32, the upgrades to get power are a lot cheaper.

it looks like the kleeman supercharger is the way to go. Does that 7 grand include the pricetag and upgrades to the engine so it can handle the new power? Hmm I'll just email them
That'll be 7 grand in USD which, all said and done with shipping and installation, you'll be closer to 13 or 14 grand CAD, you'll void the warranty on the MB engine and powertrain, but it'll be pimp....
...and you'll still be slower than a C32. And you won't have big AMG brakes. And you won't have the AMG seats...
See what I mean by upgrading to a C32?

Precisely, Rage.....or AMG Suspension, bodywork, steeringwheel, or exhaust, or beefed up drive train...

Rage may know better then me on this, but I was pretty sure a kleemanized C320 will outdue a stock C32, it has more HP and TorqueOriginally posted by rage2

AMG brakes= $900 CDN
AMG Sways= $300 CDN
I think the kleeman kit comes with a new exhaust and few other similar mods too.
Kleemann rates their supercharger kit for the 3.2L NA motor at 330hp. C32 is 349hp stock. Tests have shown that the Kleemann C320K is much slower than the C32 AMG. Guessing power to be more like 300hp, not 330.Originally posted by 20incheyes

Rage is correct on that...the Kleemann kits are not as strong as the factory AMG. Also it's not only just sways that make the suspension far superior on the C32 over the C320, the springs and shocks are better as well....
The AMG suspension consists of different springs/shocks and sway bars. Also, there are other AMG specific parts to change the suspension geometry as well. There was a MB parts guy that listed all the parts a while ago on a mercedes forum.
On the SLK anyways, pretty sure the same differences apply on the C32 as well. The difference on the track is pretty big, very noticable when I drove the 320 and the 32 back to back on the track with similar tires.

You guys know your stuff. You'd probably also have to take into consideration:
a new clutch:1000$
New gear ratio: 1200$
Updated exhaust 800
Updated suspension: 700$
