    Hi,

    I was visiting the local board in Vancouver when I discovered this board. I have to say, I'm quite impressed to see where the car scene in Calgary is going.

    I was born and raised in Calgary, when I left in 97 to Vancouver the scene in Calgary was lacking. It was all RICE. Bolt on cat back systems, stickers, and rims was considered major mods, and regular mods were super spoilers and stickers.

    Hopefully some people in Calgary will come out to Vancouver for DubExpo/Import Fest in November.

    Sweet!

    Did you do the VR swap yourself or did RPI did it for you? I've had the pleasure of taking Ron's A2 Synchro VR6 for a boot many years back. It was fast!

    I got the swap done my Shawn Van Neer. He built the A2 Syncro VR6 (the green one right)?

    He's now at Kinetic Motorsport

    Yah! Shawn used to work at RPI. He's a great guy and yup, he built the green A2 synchro.

    I know him because he put the Audi 5000 Turbo intake on my 90 G60 Corrado.

    I've been out of the European car scene for much too long!

    man i wanna come for import fest sooo bad....my bday is nov 18 and i am trying to convince my parents i need a trip to relax after midterms...
    the van import scene is amazing compared to here
