Whats that supposed to mean? The car makes great power and pulls very strong, but if you don't know when to shift with a centrifugal supercharged car it's very easy to drop 100hp between shifts, nevermind not knowing how to launch.
    I like neat cars.

That's even sadder, if he doesn't know when to shift (usually when the needle gets to the red area )

    Is he a poser?

I talked to the guy, super nice, but I agree...one would think buying a car like that you'd know how to drive just a little bit even. Maybe he was affraid of breaking something?

I think he was just super paranoid about hurting something, you should've seen it when somebody got close to the car with their keys in their hand!!! but me personally you dont buy a car like that to baby, you drive the hell out of it like it was designed to be

ps Ben thanks for the pictures and video!!! they are awesome

    Uhm...

Well it should be a lot faster. I have run faster than his fastest times at v8less and my 350z is stock. So yeah, he just needs to learn to drive his car, that's all. If he goes out and practices, I'm sure he'll be able to run mid 13's all day long...

I figured I'd post this time slip for the clarification on those 2 modified Z's that IMO were running S-L-O-W.

This is the fastest I've run my Z (time) not MPH -> It is totally stock 350z. No mods whatsoever...

Wow awesome vids. I was very impressed with the porsche 951 and the MR2. I assume the MR2 is the one i saw at the street wheelers carshow with the 3SGTE crammed in the back. And about the 350z. You guys are flaming him just because he's not used to launching his car at drag race RPM, or maybee he dosen't have all the bugs worked out of his aftermarket forced indction system (happens alot of the time). Im sure everybody has been there before, give the guy a break. I agree its kind of lame that he dosen't use the new found power he paid for, but you would be carefull to if you spent that much of your hard earned money.. Unless hes a drug dealer or his parents paid for the whole thing or something like that. thats what you should be saving your flames for.

The sad part is that the MR2 doesnt really exist anymore. It all of a sudden started on fire and burned to the ground in standoff, dont ask me why he was there, i have no idea....

    Default 37 *C on track....

Was a hot day for us newbie's at the track... John's supercharged Z was not liking the heat nor was he hitting his rev limiter constantly helping... A few changes in store for his car before Budpark on the 19th... Things will be different... Myself with the all motor Black Z, well my new JWT clutch and flywheel took a little getting use to on the track so a 14.3 best of the day is good for the heat we were in... Didn't see any all motor cars get near that run.. As for the "stock" 350z nice run... much cooler day though with less humidity helps.. a lot... We'll see you at Budpark in Sept... John and I both look forward to lining up with your stock 350z and seeing what real world results come out...

I guess you are trying to get my attention.

Unfortunately, you'll not have the chance to line up against 'me' in my stock 350z. Because it is S-O-L-D. Breaks my heart too. What an awesome ride the 350z is...

    Good luck in Edmonton.
