2 days ago the lights were out at Slowchild and Banff Trail (flashing red 4 ways) and Slowchild and Sarcee (also flashing red 4 ways).
So it was already a long ass drive home, and finally I get through the 4 way flashers at Sarcee, heading west on Crowchild and get to do the speed limit for the first time since I left work. People headed towards downtown on Crow are also backed up really far at Sarcee, and I start to see people cutting across the grass (well mud now because so many idiots are doing it) and doing u-turns onto my side of the road. No big deal, they are all way ahead of me and there is lots of space because its a 4 way stop at the last set of lights.
Then some dumb bitch in an integra thinks she can pull a u-turn into the lane infront of me and do 0-80 in about 3 seconds before I get to where she pulled onto the road. So I have to hammer the brakes and swerver around her making sure to give a healthy dose of the horn.
Todays lesson: U-turns on Highways during rush hour are BAD
