    you can get them on ebay for $45 USD..

    only place i have ever seen them, but they are quite useless IMO

    why do you think theyre useless? If the filter gets sumerged it will break the vacuum that would be pulling the water up the intake tube.

    I saw them on ebay too. I was just hoping someone could get them a tiny bit cheaper, or atleast to avoid customs charges.

    the only way you'll get hydrolocked is if you rev yur engine with your filter fully submerged for like 2 minutes straight (and if you're doing that i think you're gonna have bigger problems)... and 90% of the time all you have to do to cure a hydrolock is pull the plugs out and crank the engine a few times put them back in and go...
