a dollar per gig is a decent price....

It doesn't usually get better than that.

but I heard you can't play online. Something about every Xbox doing a check to see if it was modified. If it has been modified, it won't let you connect or something. Is that right?

you cant play on xbox live, which is crap anyways, paying for multiplayer is for schmuks, there are several other methods to play onlien multi without using live, there is one prog called kia, and one called xb connect (or XBC) you just have to select the game and room and stuff on your computer and then it connects on your xbox.

If you chip an Xbox you can disable the mod chip to play on XB Live, but if you TSOP an Xbox (no chip required) you can't get onto XB Live because you can't disable a TSOP and MS will detect the changes. But it doesn't matter either way, you can play on XB connect and avoid MS all together.

As for the 120GB hard drive, Memory Express has Maxtor 120GB drives for $125. They work great in Xboxes, I've put lots of them in
