I have limited experience with Infinity Audio, don't see too much of it in Calgary.

Type Rs kick ass. get a Type R. better yet, try and track down one of the last few Titaniums left at Soundsaround and you could probably get a really good deal on it though. I think they are all gone, but you could always ask around.

They are both low-end subs. Save the money and get the Pioneer.

man...I was thinking the exact opposite thing! Pioneer subs lick balls. Go with the type S over the Pioneer and the kappa over the Type R. Or listen to BumpinTalon and go get a Titanium(I know autotemp has some left).

Aight guys, i have the new Jl audio E1400D amp mono or 2 channel amp i believe and im running a single 12w3v2 with a sealed box. i need some pro advice b/c i want some loud, really good sounding bass without any distortion or nething wrong from the sub. Should i add another 12w3v2 or upgrade to one 12w6v2 b/c this amp i believe is 500 watts which is way too much for one 12w3v2?!?

Infinity Kappa Perfect 10 and 12's from sounddomain for 149 and 179 US, respectively. I have a single 12 and I like the sound quality from it.

Definately the Kappa over the Type R if those are the choices. But I can think of some better subs (imo) in that class.

True, but for the price they're selling them at on SoundDomain it's hard to go wrong.

I guess, I would rather have a JL W3 though.

I think it is a more versatile sub.
