Default High Flow Cat on A Honda?

I've heard conflicting claims that these either

    a) Do wonders for performance gains

    b) Don't do anything at all

Is there anyone who has installed a high flow cat and can comment on this?

It won't help you much. The stock cat is actually pretty darn good. The only time I would even think to get one is if you are getting a fairly large diameter aftermarket header/exhaust combo. And the only reason I say that is because it's kinda gay to go from a 2.25" collector to a 1.75" cat to a 2.25" exhaust. Plus, I'm assuming that if you have a large diameter exhaust you have the engine mods to push the extra fumes.

Go with a test pipe if you don't mind the noise

Big improvement w/ a turbo, not too bad w/ non and helps the exhaust system last longer...
